Here we are in the week before Thanksgiving.....the cold weather and rain. Earlier in the month, the Philippines suffered several earthquakes and typhoons. Two typhoons actually combined and it made a supertyphoon. Approximately 250 people killed, thousands left without homes, loved ones missing. Cebu was basically the center but many areas were affected. Roads and bridges washed out, houses gone, cars scattered all over the areas hit. They are currently in cleanup mode and recovery. Our grandson, his wife and baby girl were able to get to safety. Our area at the church lots of wind, lost banana trees and downed lines. Been awhile but we came out good. Our son and family have done repairs. We are still looking at March to return there; have to look at schedule. My granddaughter is planning on getting married around June 2026; also my daughter and her husband wants to come in September when his workload is not hectic. Looking forward to get back to teaching, challenging, and people getting healed. On the 20th November, we have delegation going to Jesus Reigns so prepping for that now. HIHWIM IS LOCATED IN BRGY GATASAN, CATANAUAN QUEZON IN THE PHILIPPINES. CATANAUAN IS LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 256 KM OR ABOUT 164 MILES FROM MANILA AND IS ON THE BONDOC PENINSULA, A LITTLE FINGER OF LAND JUTTING OFF THE MAIN ISLAND OF LUZON JUST SOUTH OF MANILA. SAN ISIDRO AND THE BARANGAY WHERE THE CHURCH IS LOCATED IS APPROXIMATELY 20 MINUTES NORTHWEST OF CATANAUAN, THE MUNICIPALITY FOR OVER 46 BARANGAYS. THE NEAREST BIG TOWN IS LUCENA CITY WHICH IS ABOUT 2.5 TO 3 HOURS DRIVE AND IT IS THE CAPITOL OF QUEZON PROVINCE. WE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE YOU COME AND VISIT OUR CHURCH. OUR CHURCH REACHES INTO 5 BARANGAYS: CUTCUTAN; GATASAN; SAN ISIDRO; TUHIAN; AND MACPAC, AND MACALELON.  HERE WE INTERACT WITH OTHER PASTORS FROM VARIOUS DENOMINATIONS (EVANGELICAL), AND ALSO PASTORS FROM AROUND THE PROVINCE, AS WELL AS OTHERS. WE HAVE SENT ABOUT 12 PEOPLE TO SCHOOL OF LIFE SPONSORED BY WORD OF LIFE MINISTRIES AND LMFI. WE ARE NOT IN COMPETITION WITH OUR PASTOR ASSOCIATES BUT RATHER ARE HERE TO ENHANCE AND ALSO LEARN FROM EACH OTHER.
